What would life be like...

Ok, in honor of Harry Potter coming out today/tomorrow, I am going to geek out a little here.

What would life be like if Hogwarts, witches and wizards, Hogsmead, magic wands, and all the other wonderful things that make Harry Potter what it is was real? And how do we know that it isn't real? Haha...oh here we go:

I would absolutely love life more than I already do. I mean...come on! What could you NOT do with magic? Oh yea, you could clean the toilet with your hands and a scrub brush, you could pick up the dog poop yourself, you would have to light a candle with a lighter!! What?! You would have to take broken things to repair shops, you could only sweep with brooms, you would have to try to remember all of your memories...I mean come on. Even though all of those things aren't THAT big of a deal, how awesome would it be with just a flick of a wand your toilet would be clean, dog poop would vanish into nothing, candles would light themselves, you wouldn't have to pay anything to repair a broken glass (or anything of your choice) and you could have a bowl of pensieve that contains your memories for you and you can go back and visit them whenever you want!

Life would never, ever be boring. You would pretty much see something new every day, though new dangers would lurk as well. Though Lord Voldemort is a powerful and evil wizard, I'm pretty sure I could convince him to go to the good side ;) I mean...what ever did Harry do to him besides survive and make him weak? I mean...come on. To kill the boy is a little too much to ask, he would have been a much more powerful wizard if he were on the "good" side ha. Here  I go rambling on about Harry Potter when I am supposed to be talking about what OUR life would be like.

School, going to Hogwarts would be awesome. But I would like it if there were a Hogwarts college...so I could still go into the profession I have chosen. Working with magical animals would be way to awesome for me to pass up. Though I wouldn't exactly want to be a groundskeeper like Hagrid haha. I would want to be a vet still. School would just be way more interesting...I hope I'm not the only one who thinks this.

Candy, I mean come on! Chocolate frogs that actually move! Seriously, how awesome is the variety of sweets in this world? And Butter Beer! JK Rowling describes this stuff to be amazing...yet I know someone who has made it before and they said it was disgusting. I view butter beer as a butterscotch flavored drink...a little creamy  :) 

Quidditch, I would love to play this sport. It seems a little more dangerous than most others, but it seems so dang exciting! I would want to be a seeker, yea yea...not just because Harry was one. I just feel like that would be the easiest thing for me to do...not sure why. Probably just because I would want to hide things in the snitches I caught. Hahaha.

I really can't believe I just typed all of this stuff in here...I guess after years of holding all my Harry Potter geekyness in since it's the last movie I needed to rid of it somewhere. The last movie....oh no. Bringing some tissues for sure! I would promise that this will be the last time it is mention in this blog, but I'm sure I will mention it some tomorrow as well being that I would have seen the movie!
